LXB: Shelf Expression

I haven’t done a LXB post in a while. Thought I’d jump in on this one. The directive was simple:

Shelf Expression. Take a picture of your shelves, featuring a few of your favorite things.

I realize that I still haven’t given a full photo tour of Nerd Lunch HQ. This isn’t the full overview, but it shows a lot of what’s in here.

I have several shelves to show off. Instead of picking one, I thought I’d show off all of them. And more.

One shelving unit has Marvel Universe figures on top…

…three shelves worth of G.I. Joes…

…and my tradepaperbacks and 6″ DC Comics figures. I’m still looking for a decent Wonder Woman to go in this collection. No one yell at me.

Speaking of DC Comics, I have another smaller shelving unit that has a miscellaneous assortment of things. In front of this unit is an old G.I. Joe HQ that I still need to take the time to set up. No close up of that yet.
Close up shots of the above unit…
I’ve shown off some of my Muppets figures before, but here are shots of the complete collection…

Before I move on from toys and action figures, here are some other things including stuff hanging on the wall and items on the windowsills. First up, my little A-Team collection…
…the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…

…a few Nightwing items and a little Serenity ornament (namesakes of our cars)…

…and finally, the current state of my Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment collection. Still need the Ecto-1 in the Retro Entertainment packaging.

Moving on from toys…
I have all of my comics on an industrial shelving unit and then the comic boxes are covered by a Superman quilt that my mother-in-law made for me.
Here’s a shelving unit of some of my DVDs and all my Blu-rays…
And finally, here’s another bookshelf with more DVDs and books, plus a few vintage glasses. Anyone want some of these glasses?

I have. It was was the first episode of Nerd Lunch I'd listened to. Originally I was just coming to hear what Michael May's voice sounded like, then I got hooked.

Yes it is. Next to a Jerry Ordway sketch. Have you heard our Des Taylor episode, Erik? It was episode 69 as I recall.
