Nerd Lunch Podcast 87: Ultimate Triple Features

We welcome Jeremy from Geek Chunks back to the fourth chair this week to put together our ultimate triple features around specific themes. What 3 Schwarzenegger joints, alien invasion movies, or facial hair flicks will make our lists? Indeed, inquiring minds (or maybe just Jeeg) do want to know.  In our Nerd To-Dos, we hear about losing the fire for The Walking Dead comic, unpacking old treasures from the garage, and home screenings of The Hobbit and ParaNorman.

As for the Arnold Triple Bill, I have to chime in (I'm slow getting around to all these podcasts I listen too – much better than television because I actually get to THINK).

    1) Eraser – a totally forgotten Arnold movie that is really quite good.
    2) True Lies – Another forgotten "Ahnold" classic with a great supporting cast (Tom Arnold was awesome in this movie and Jamie Lee Curtis was, well, hot) – Add in the side story with Bill Paxton and you have a very intriguing and well rounded story – intense but not so ridiculous – with enough comedy relief to have us remember we're only watching a movie.
3 – Jingle All The Way – I know you guys panned this one, but hear me out. Arnold is so wrapped up in his job that he's constantly flubbing up with his family (Rita Wilson is his wife – lucky man) and "Young Anakin" is his son. Through the pains of hell, he winds up BEING THE HERO (in the literal sense of the word) and makes Christmas very special for his son AND his wife (Oh, Howard…)
