They said it shouldn’t be done, but we did it anyway. With just over four years behind us, the Nerd Lunch crew hit a milestone episode number of 200 shows. With no idea what to do, we were rescued by Fourth Chair Army generals Jay from The Sexy Armpit and Shawn from Branded in the 80s and they put together a special “Roast & Toast” of CT, Pax and Jeeg. You don’t want to miss this one as it is chock full of questions, memories and special guests:
Plus hear from:
- Rielly
- Jen Usellis Mackay
- Aaron Nix
- Robert Zerbe
- William Bruce West
- Andrew Bloom
- Rob Graham
- Jeff Somogyi
- Rondal Scott
- Tim Lybarger
- The Retroist
- Doug Frye, Matt Ringler and Kirk Howle of Schlock Treatment
- Michael DiGiovanni, Mike Downs and Christian Nielsen of The Atomic Geeks
Special thanks to everyone who participated and everyone who has joined us in the Fourth Chair over the years. Also, thanks to all of our listeners. We hope you enjoy this monumental episode. We’ll be back with more next week.
Finally, after yet another knock-down drag out fight with Weebly, my Nerd Lunch tribute post is up. Hope it meets with your approval!

Hey, Jeeg! I know how busy you guys are, and it's hard for you to reply sometimes; I'm just glad you're able to keep producing the show. No reply is needed here, except that the 21st isn't Tuesday, is it? I'm using this cheap Chinese calendar I got at the 99c Store that has Saturday and Sunday both on the right, and I've been confused all year. Must be part of their plot to bring down America, right? Anyway, the 21st is Wednesday, and that's the next day I have to do this, so don't show up Tuesday and think I've bailed on you. Wednesday. The 21st. Mid-week…
Okay, I've drawn so much attention to this now that you're going to expect something profound, so I'd better go start planning! Congrats again on a fabulous landmark show. I'll do my best to do you guys justice!
Thanks Jack! Like most of our shows, the credit goes to Jay, Shawn, and the Fourth Chair Army for making this episode.
We appreciate you riding along with us all these years and being a comment stalwart. I look forward to reading your write-up and hearing what has stood out for you.
I cannot believe there are no comments on here! Oh well, maybe the crowd is just waiting for the weekend. Fabulous show, and much congratulation! As a 200-listener, just let me say how much fun, enjoyment, and dare I say education you guys have provided over the years. I hope to see many more to come. I'll be writing up your show on my blog, with a scheduled date of Oct 21st, by which time you'll be at 201. My audience is composed mostly of steampunks, which is sort of the other word for nerd, so maybe you'll pick up a few more listeners who'll have something to contribute. In any case, looking good, and I'll see you next Tuesday (sounds raunchy; anyone else hear it?).
